ABOUT THE BUILD

The Harvard Medical School at Dubai Healthcare City is a post-graduate education and research institute. The building comprises two basements and a ground floor with a left and right wing. The left wing block consists of four floors and a roof and the right wing block consists of eight floors and a roof.

Trans Gulf Electromechanical LLC provided the following services:

HVAC

• A/C and ventilation system

Electrical and ELV Systems

• LV system, busbar and generator
• Fire alarm system and central battery/emergency lighting system

Plumbing

• Drainage and water supply
• Firefighting system
• Building management system (BMS)

The total cooling load of the project is 2,146 TR and the total electrical load is 6,768kW.

Unique aspects of the project included audiovisual and IT systems.
