ABOUT THE BUILD

The Wahat Hili Mall and Hotel project is situated in a prime location in Al Ain, surrounded by arterial routes to Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Oman. The mall consists of ground, first and second floors and houses 150 retail outlets. Attached to the mall is a five-star hotel with 248 guest rooms plus swimming pool, gymnasium and spa.

Trans Gulf Electro Mechanical was awarded the contract to complete the balance of MEP works and supplied the following:

HVAC

• Commissioning of chillers, cooling tower and pump set
• Complete connection of chilled water pipe, valve package, and associated duct work
• BMS and BTU meters
• Cladding of all exposed pipes and ducts
• Close control unit

Electrical and ELV Systems

• Testing and commissioning of MV panels and transformer, and handing over to AADC
• Testing of LV panels and control panels
• Complete fire alarm and public address
• CCTV and digital signage
• Car park management and gate barrier
• Telephone and structural cables.
• Lighting control system
• Earthing and lightning protection
• Generator and emergency light
• Security and access control system
• Guest room management.
• IP TV and SMA TV
• Audio and video system
• Smoke management system

Plumbing

• Hot and cold water system
• Drainage system, grease trap and Lynen3 trap
• Water tank installation and pump set commissioning
• Commissioning fire pump and fire protection

• Calorifier and heat exchanger
